More Than 30 Caddo Administrators Teach "JA For A Day"

Working together with Junior Achievement of North Louisiana to help the nonprofit reach its goal of educating more than 9,000 students this school year, Caddo Schools’ Central Office took to classrooms on May 15 to teach Junior Achievement’s financial literacy, entrepreneurship and business curriculum.

District administrators taught the JA for a Day framework and received extensive training before the sessions to ensure they were prepared to answer students’ questions on banking, savings and more. In addition, students were encouraged to work in groups to expand peer teaching opportunities as part of the lessons.

In total, Caddo’s efforts helped Junior Achievement to teach approximately 9,400 students in the 2017-2018 school year. To learn more about Junior Achievement, visit juniorachievement.org
